Hailing from Baile Átha Cliath, broadcaster Síomha Ní Ruairc came onto the media scene in 2018. She has since presented an annual family talent show for TG4, the country's dedicated Irish language channel, and has since broadened her horizons to other national stations. Last year she fronted Virgin Media's smash hit Grá ar an Trá. She's now most known for presenting the country's hit morning show, Ireland AM, since 2023 - she makes up part of the weekend team. Her bilingual podcast How To Gael, which she presents with two other TG4 presenters, has shot to the top of the Irish charts of late. Síomha is an avid advocate for language rights, feminism and sustainability.
